I have incorporated the angels of George Floyd, Sean Reed, and Eric Garner. May their souls be at peace knowing that people are trying to make things right for them and the rest of the black communities. When I attended a #blacklivesmatter protest by my town, I felt the pain and anger of everyone there. My friend’s 74 year old grandma came along and I saw her scream and cry. She was a teenager when MLK was alive protesting racial injustice and segregation and she couldn’t believe that 3-4 generations later she and her family still have to face it. It was a very intense and emotional experience. I remember praying with her at one moment and all I could think of was that the people that died, they’re in heaven watching us fight for change and we‘re going to fight to make them all proud.
