I follow an Australian tattoo artist on social media who’s work I find fascinating. I took one of her sketches of the woman who was looking up to the sun. It symbolizes a new beginning; looking towards the light, letting all your shadows and worries fall behind you. Since I was stuck at home during quarantine, I was inspired to make my own version of this piece that represented the unfortunate becomings of this pandemic.
